Johanna Bishop is Director of Behavioral Science Programs at Wilmington University. She has previously worked in the nuclear power industry and with the chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries establishing voluntary industry skills standards. Ms. Bishop is a doctoral candidate at The George Washington University’s Executive Leadership program and is doing her research on organizational learning. At Wilmington University she established the Delaware BETA Chapter of the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society that is known for its service to the community along with academic achievements.

Ms. Bishop holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Education from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University. She previously served on the Committee for International Academic Affairs of The Governor’s International Trade Commission under the Carper administration, as well as being President of the Stuyvesant Hills Civil Association. She is a council member and newsletter editor of the section on Public Sociology and Sociological Practice of the American Sociological Association. She is actively involved in the Region I Chapter of the Women in Nuclear Organization. Ms. Bishop and her family live in Hockessin. Ms. Bishop’s term expires in April 2014.
