Art Studio - Adult & Teen

    Four 2-hour virtual classes. We will explore the many ways of creating art and functional pieces with fabric and other fibers. Students will learn home and eco-friendly dyeing techniques and make small weaving, sewing and embroidery projects. Open to all levels. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Ages: 16+

NO LINGERING: Please do not linger or congregate inside the market. Spend as little time as possible with each vendor to allow continuous flow of customers through the market. NO TOUCHING: Please do not touch market items. Tell the vendor the items you would like to purchase and the vendor will bag them for you. NO PETS: Only service animals are permitted at the market at this time. PAYMENT: Cash payment is preferred at this market. DO NOT ENTER WITH ANY OF THESE SYMPTOMS: Fever, shortness of breath, or coughing. If you are feeling sick, please stay home & contact your healthcare provider immediately.

    Looking for a fun family-friendly, screen-free activity? Love a good story and the great outdoors? Rockwood Park and Brandywine Hundred Library present Trail Tales! Trail Tales combines reading while walking an outdoor trail. All ages. FREE This week's trail begins in the lower parking lot and continue around the pond. This trail contains both paved and unpaved portions which are appropriate for rugged strollers. Keep in mind that the earth around the pond may be muddy.

    Enjoy the beauty of Rockwood Park and Museum and the Power of Nature. Family based scavenger hunt that provides participants the opportunity to explore different parts of the park, the existing plantings, and the history of the existing structures. Great opportunity for parents with children participating in virtual education to supplement their child's learning.Social distancing and face masks required, along with temperature checks and a brief COVID form.
