Wilmington, DE – Kids of all ages and their families are invited to enjoy games, stories, enchanted crafts, costume parades, and children's museum tours at the 5th Annual New Castle County Faerie Festival, this Sunday, September 17. The event takes place from noon to 4:00 pm at Rockwood Park and Museum, 4651 Washington Street Extension, Wilmington. The day includes food trucks, merchants selling festive wares, and visits from special guests such as the Fairy Queen and other magical surprise guests! Free activities include face painting, bubbles, bounce house, art on the rocks, story time, museum tours for children, costume parades, crafts, and performances.Cost is free. Delaware Children’s Theatre – “HONK!” sneak peak- Delaware Children's Theatre will present a performance from their first show of the season Honk!, based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Duckling. Kids will enjoy the toe-tapping songs from this heartwarming musical about a lovable duck who doesn't quite fit in with his siblings. But soon learns to embrace being special and different.
