Trail Tales: Ruby's Birds  by Mya Thompson- ongoing, FREE

Come explore the new Trail Tale at Glasgow Park. By strolling the trail, participants will be reading  Ruby’s Birds by Mya Thompson, the current children’s book for Longwood Gardens Community Read.

In Ruby’s Birds, trail participants will meet a young girl that develops a keen interest in bird watching, while visiting Central Park in New York City. The story creates an awareness that bird watching can take place anywhere. Participating in the trail might also spark an interest in learning more about how to participate in a citizen-science project, Celebrate Urban Birds sponsored by the Cornell Lab. So why not get involved and learn how to identify our fine feathered friends. All ages. FREE
