If you are just filing a will or wish to view a registered will/estate documents, an appointment is not necessary.
However, it is necessary to make an appointment with one of our Deputies to open an estate. They will explain the various forms required and guide you through the probate process.
Personal representatives (executors/administrators) are encouraged to work closely with the Register of Wills Office throughout the process and eventually submit an accounting and schedule an appointment to "close" the estate.
