Crime Analysis Unit Community Services Unit Information & Analysis Unit Criminal Investigation Unit Crisis Negotiation Team Evidence Detection Unit Professional Development Unit K-9 Unit Motorcycle Unit Ordnance Disposal Police Athletic League Special Weapons & Tactics Unit Traffic Services Unit Walking and Bike Patrol Mounted Patrol Unit  Patrol Division   This unit maintains a crime and suspect database to facilitate analysis and produces reports on crime series, patterns, trends, and offers to aid in the identification, arrest, and prosecution of criminals. To perform these tasks, the unit has two full-time crime analysts, a criminal intelligence officer, and a pawn detective. The unit prepares, among other reports, a monthly crime summary or "report card" which was developed to monitor crime and calls for service during the month. These figures are then compared with those of the same month of the previous year. This report is used both operationally and administratively to assess trends in crime.
