These policies are applicable for all New Castle County TIPCat Libraries.  Please check the details of availability for your local library (i.e. not all libraries have meeting room facilities to offer, but the policy is still County-wide).  Any forms included on this page must be brought to your local library to be used:  we are not accepting electronic submission of these forms at this time.

The New Castle County TIPCat Libraries have a set of guidelines for the selection and maintenance of their collections; providing informational, educational, and recreational materials to meet the interests, needs, and requests of the community.

All Internet (SAM) users are required to accept our Internet Acceptable Use Policy before being allowed to access our Public-Access computing services (except the catalog). This is the same text as is displayed in all New Castle County Libraries.

Our meeting rooms are open to the public for use.  Before attempting to schedule a meeting room, please read the policy governing their use.  Also, be sure to contact the library whose facilities you wish to use as not all of our libraries have meeting rooms available.  Please see our linkFAQ page for common questions about our meeting rooms.
