Universal Design is a series of standards for construction that accommodates a broad variety of needs, generally incorporating a main level that does not require the use of stairs, wider doors to allow for wheelchair access, door knobs that do not require a twisting motion and other elements. Below are a variety of documents that provide greater information about universal design and how to add it to your home or office or to incorporate it into new construction. |
