Join Michael Forestieri and discover the actor/actress in you!  This 1 1/2 hour workshop, sponsored by the Delaware Division of the Arts, the Delaware Division of Libraries, and the National Endowment for the Arts, will sharpen your acting skills.  Ages 8-18.  Registration required.

DRAMA CAMPS

Calling actors, set designers, and script writers!  This five-week drama camp will enable you to create, write, and present an original play and design the sets.  Participants must be able to attend all four acting sessions and the final production performance.

Practices:  Mondays, July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27

       Ages 8-12: 1:00 pm         Ages 13 and up:  2:00 pm

Final Performance:  Saturday, August 1, 1:00 pm (all ages)

 

  

 

SUMMER READING CLUB 2009

Sign up for the Summer Reading Club 2009.  Prizes are given for each week you come into the library with your reading log and for reading times of 6 hours and 30 hours.  Register for a raffle after completing 60 hours of reading.  Children of ages 0 to 17 are welcome to participate.

NEW CASTLE COUNTY READS: BACK TO NATURE

This spring NCC Reads invites you to rediscover nature right here in New Castle County!  Using Bill Bryson's book A Walk in the Woods as the point of departure, county libraries are offering free programs to help you become reacquainted with nature.  And it's happening both inside and outside.  Please refer to the attached brochure for all programs.
