We are located in the Claymont Community Center, which is home to more than 30 agencies that provide programs and services to area residents of all ages.
The New Castle County Libraries will be closed on Friday, July 3; Saturday, July 4; and Sunday, July 5 for the Independence Day holiday and our regular Sunday closings.

Teen Advisory Board
Teens are invited to join our Teen Advisory Board! This group helps give teens the opportunity to help plan teen services and activities at the Claymont Library!
This year the New Castle County Libraries are partnering with several local area businesses to encourage kids of all ages to read. All children who read 6 or more hours during Summer Reading Club 2009, from June 1-August 15 will receive a multi-business discount card good at the following businesses:
