In 1830, the Summit Bridge over the C&D Canal was the most elevated covered bridge in the Nation! The New Castle/Frenchtown Railroad was the 1st railroad built in Delaware and only the 3rd in America! Calling all train buffs, civil engineering geeks, and local history fans.
