2014-0496-D.  THIS APPLICATION HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA.  Review was completed at a prior meeting. 5 Old Barley Mill Road (north side Old Barley Mill Road, 2800 feet east of Montchanin Road). To amend a Declaration of Restrictions dated November 21, 1986 by Richard S. du Pont  that restricts further subdivision, rezoning, prohibits variance applications on the property and requires the 1.813 acre parcel to become attached and integral to the parcel described as Lot 2.  The amendment will remove the prohibitions and allow the subdivision of the 18.8 acre parcel into three (3) parcels proposed by a minor land development plan now under review (App. 2014-0309-S).  NC2a zoning district. CD 2

2014-0465-S.
West side Summit Bridge Road, 2,510 feet south of Old Schoolhouse Road. Exploratory Major Land Development Plan and PLUS Review for Connection Community Church proposes to construct a 24,747 square foot assembly/worship facility on 27.23 acres.  S (Suburban) zoning district.  CD 6.

2014-0606-T.  To Revise Chapter 40 of the New Castle County Code (also known as the Unified Development Code – UDC), Article 7 (Transfer of Development Rights and Other Incentives and Bonuses) and Article 33 (Definitions) Regarding Elimination of the Current Workforce Housing Regulations.  Ord. 14-108 is a text amendment that will eliminate the current workforce housing regulations.  County Council sponsor: Penrose Hollins.

2014-0607-T.  To Amend Chapter 40 of the New Castle County Code (also known as the Unified Development Code – UDC), Article 7 (Transfer of Development Rights and Other Incentives and Bonuses) Regarding the Creation of a Traditional Neighborhood Housing Program.  Ord. 14-109 is a text amendment that will create a new traditional neighborhood housing program.  County Council Sponsor: Penrose Hollins.

 

Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.  Time limitations will be imposed on speakers.  Information on all applications is available for public review in the Land Use Department, New Castle County Government Center, 87 Reads Way, Corporate Commons, New Castle, DE, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
