Dancing in the Park & Food Truck Festival

Dancing in the Park is presented in conjunction with National Dance Day 2017, an annual celebration launched by the Dizzy Feet Foundation in 2010 which “encourages Americans to embrace dance as a fun and positive way to maintain good health and combat obesity.” New Castle County has embraced the day as a part of our Live Healthy New Castle County campaign with our partner See You Outside Delaware. The event is free for all, and both individuals and groups of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.
Individuals and dance groups will learn the National Dance Day routine and then perform as a large group flash mob style. The performance will be filmed. Dance all the most popular line dances with DJ EA and learn some new moves- all styles of dance will be demonstrated and taught by the best instructors from several local dance studios.
