Any owner of a residential property that is leased for rent is required to register their property. All rental property owners are required to update their registration information annually by May 1st. Registration forms may be faxed to (302) 395-5545 or e-mailed to AKendall@nccde.org.
New Castle County has created a brochure to provide tenants with information regarding rights and responsibilities. Property owners are required to provide their tenants with a copy of the brochure, which can be downloaded from the Tenants Page.
