Register Online For Summer Reading!

New Castle County Libraries - in partnership with the Delaware Library Consortium - now offer access to Beanstack, an online portal that provides free summer reading registration and hours logging, personalized recommendations of children’s books, library programs, and educational apps. The new, online service is free to Delaware Library users and can be accessed from a home computer, mobile device, or in any of the Library’s branch locations. It includes book and activity logging, badges, and registration for all members of the family under one account. Beanstack also uniquely sends each patron weekly personalized emails recommending a library program or book.

How It Works

  1. Visit Beanstack
  2. Click on "Get Started"
  3. Fill out a profile for each child
  4. Read and complete fun activities to earn prizes this summer
  5. On Your Mark...Get Set...Read!
