Register Online For Summer Reading!

New Castle County Libraries - in partnership with the Delaware Library Consortium - now offer access to Beanstack, an online portal that provides free summer reading registration and hours logging, personalized recommendations of children’s books, library programs, and educational apps. The new, online service is free to Delaware Library users and can be accessed from a home computer, mobile device, or in any of the Library’s branch locations. It includes book and activity logging, badges, and registration for all members of the family under one account. Beanstack also uniquely sends each patron weekly personalized emails recommending a library program or book.

How It Works

  2. Click on "Get Started"
  3. Fill out a profile for each child
  4. Read and complete fun activities to earn prizes this summer

Is There Anything Else We Can Help You With?

Can't find an item in our catalog and want to order it? Have a question about your library account? Would you like to leave a comment? Please contact us and a library staff member will get back to you. Thank you for Loving Your Library!

Brandywine Hundred Library is a 40,000 square foot facility nestled in Talley Day Park. The library grew out of the need to replace the small and aging Concord Pike Library, which had opened in 1959 as the New Castle County Free Library headquarters. Brandywine Hundred Library opened its doors in April of 2003, designated as the regional library for the northern New Castle County area.

We have more than 150,000 items available for loan including audio, video, magazines, electronic sources, and - of course - books. Library programs are available for all ages and interests. In addition to materials and programs, the library has study rooms and meeting spaces for nonprofit community groups. Come and visit: the staff at Brandywine Hundred Library is ready to assist you.
