Horseback Riding Camp

Beginners through Advanced riders are encouraged to attend our summer camp. Campers must be at least seven to twelve years of age. Camp takes place M-F during two consecutive weeks, June12 thru16th and July 24th thru July 23 from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM each day. Students can enroll for either or both weeks. Ages 7-12

Campers will play games on horseback, take a trail ride, try out an English or Western saddle, or even decorate their horse and have a costume contest!

The camp program and environment will emphasize horse safety, education and fun.
Campers will receive riding lessons within their riding level and will be given the opportunity to expand their ability and knowledge beyond their weekly lessons. Two riding sessions a day will be offered.

Games, crafts and activities will complement the instructional day of fun and learning.
Campers will learn about horses in ways that they have never experienced! They will learn about characteristics, behavior, personality, health and nutritional needs of the horse. Participants will properly care for their assigned horses for the week.

The week will culminate with a riding demonstration for parents on Friday afternoon.

What campers should bring each day:
Lunch and snack, Water Bottle, One change of clothes (t-shirt, jeans or shorts),Sunscreen, Insect repellant (should be applied at home).

Attire for riding:
ASTM approved riding helmet, Riding boots or hard-soled shoes with 1/2” heel, Jeans or long pants Campers should report to the barn office and must be signed in and out each morning and afternoon.

Two sessions:

Monday – Friday 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
